Vision
To develop a thriving circular economy of entrepreneurs and influence effective climate change resilience strategies on Caribbean SIDS.
Our Founder
As a biologist and sustainability specialist with over 7 years of expertise in luxury fashion and lifestyle products, I know that sustainability is the bridge between creative economy and the sciences. I'm committed to amplifying this narrative through actionable programs at CSFDG.
The creative economies have an untapped potential to enhance small island developing states (SIDS) climate resilience.
Programs
CSFDG delivers educational and skills training programs to entrepreneurs within the creative economy of Grenada and CARICOM. Starting with the Kaylia Couturier Program.
Precision. Patience. Quality.
The Kaylia Couturier Program, designed by The Kaylia Group, is CSFDG's flagship initiative — teaching high-quality sewing and pattern-making skills, particularly to women. The program begins in Grenada, chosen due to the personal connection of the organization's founder. This initiative will help break down social and cultural barriers on the island, creating opportunities for local talent to gain exposure and develop their skills.

IMPACT FUND
The Fashion Impact Fund, an initiative of PVBLIC Foundation, supports fashion skills training programs led by women for women to achieve education, employment and economic inclusion. By investing in fashion workforce development solutions for women, we can create lasting and transformative impact on their lives, communities, and the sector globally.
Sustainability
Implementing community-driven initiatives that promote sustainable lifestyles, social equity, and grassroots involvement for tangible and positive societal impact.
Minimizing ecological footprints and promoting a regenerative relationship with the planet. Increasing access to renewable resources and sustainability education.
Integrating sustainable practices into the preservation and promotion of Caribbean cultural heritage, fostering a dynamic synergy between tradition and innovation.
The Council on Sustainable Fashion and Design of Grenada is a proud member of the United Nations Fashion & Lifestyle Network since our inception in 2024. The Network plays a key role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by connecting industry stakeholders, media, governments, and UN entities.

"Small Island Developing States (SIDS) emit less than 1% of global carbon emissions annually, yet they are the most vulnerable to the effects of climate change"
That's why CSFDG is a member with registered commitments to the United Nations Small Island Developing States Partnership Framework.
Nestled in the embrace of the Caribbean, Grenada is classified as a Small Island Developing State (SIDS) by the United Nations. Its beauty is intertwined with the vulnerability to climate change. Rising sea levels, intensified hurricanes, and shifting weather patterns pose real threats.
At CSFDG, we believe in harnessing the power of the creative economy to shape a different story. Through art, architecture, fashion, and overall sustainable design, we weave a narrative of awareness and resilience, nurturing a community that not only adapts to climate challenges but actively advocates for change.
Join us on this journey where creativity becomes a catalyst for building climate resilience in the heart of the Caribbean.
At CSFDG our programs work toward the following Sustainable Development Goals
